Digital Innovation Mentorship Program
Our all new program is designed to engage students in a short-term, group or one-on-one mentoring relationship with a leader in technology in the Philadelphia area. Our 3-part program focuses on developing skills and relationships that will help a student be successful in their emerging professional career.
About The Program
Our mentorship program is broken down into 3 modules, each focusing on a specific part of the tech or business world that students may further develop their knowledge in the industry, unique skill sets, and leadership skills. The goal of the program is to provide students with the encouragement, motivation, and guidance that they need to be successful in the future.
Module 1 of the program focuses on the innovation that comes from 3-D printing and the basic principles of robotics. Students will have the opportunity to design a project online and then see their own unique design come to life. 3-D printers use the basic principles of robotics to develop something brand new that the students will be able to touch and understand. This unique experience will teach students about the future of 3-D printing in technology and allow them to experience the power of creativity in a hands-on environment.
Module 2 of the program focuses on the entrepreneurial aspects of creating a business. Students will learn the ins-and-outs of creating their own business and running it from an online platform. This piece of the program will lean heavily on the development of new relationships in the field as well as everything that goes on behind the scenes in a business environment. From creating schedules to maintaining equipment, the behind the scenes work is what keeps a business running.
Module 3 of the program is all about video production. By the end of this module, students will be able to create a podcast, develop a basic tv show, or implement live streaming techniques. Students will learn how to capture video content in a way that is easily understood and engaging for their audience. The final part of our program will be for students to take what they learned and create their own video demonstrating the importance of technology and where they believe it can take them in the future.
