Alula RE622 Series CryptiX NanoMax Door and Window Sensor
The Alula RE622 is an encrypted, low-profile, wireless door or window contact designed for use with the Alula Connect+ Panel. The RE622 sensor detects the opening and closing of doors and windows. It can secure almost anything that opens with its simple peel-and-stick mounting solution. The RE622 will alarm when the Connect+ Panel is armed, and the magnet is pulled away from the contact.
To enroll the RE622, place the panel into wireless enrollment mode and send an enrollment signal from the NanoMax sensor. Alternatively, the NanoMax sensor can be enrolled by scanning its bar code using the Alula app or by entering its 8-character serial number on the interactive GeoArm web portal.
To install the RE622, remove the adhesive paper and adhere the NanoMax contact and magnet to a door or window. Ensure that the alignment marks on the NanoMax and magnet are properly aligned. Alternatively, the NanoMax can be used with an external contact instead of the reed switch.
The 3M VHB Tape works effectively if the surface is properly prepared and firm pressure is applied for over 10 seconds. The RE622's wireless performance is optimized when mounted near the top of the door in a vertical orientation. Consider adding the NanoMax mounts (RE033-16) for better performance on metal and narrow mounting situations.
